POST-GRADUATE STUDIES.



Hi everyone! 


I hope you is well, today I am going to talk about postgraduate studies. 

Currently I am going to pursue second year of degree in Social Work in the university, in first place I would like to study a Master´s Program in Chile, a subject of my interest is effective innovation in public policy or any other area that allows me to work with institutionalized children, because as I mentioned in the last blog this sphere is very important for me; and then to work and save money for to study a postgraduate carrer in another country, because I don´t have money to continue studying. 

I haven´t determined a country to study the postgraduate program, however Brasil is a contry that interests me. Without a doubt, it would be a challenge for me to study in other country because I have never tarveled outside of Chile, but I think that is necessary to get out of the comfort zone in order to achieve professional growth. And I would not like to study online, because my experience with this mode of study was not the best, I couldn´t concentrate in front of the computer, also I prefer education face to face.

My best vacation ever!

Hi everyone! How are you?. In this occasion I will tell you about my last vacation, it was in december  of last year, in that opportunity I went to El Quisco with seven friends, we  ever   had wanted travel outside of Santiago, but we never realized it until that time. The travel was for two days, yes it was very short because we should go to vote in Santiago, this presidential election was very important because there was a candidate of extreme right, and he could not come to power.    In the travel need had some difficulties for the organization, the truth we didn´t eat well jaja, but without a doubt that was a great travel because it was the first experience where we were traveled out of Santiago and we were more of one day together in the same home. Too we did more entertaining activities as leave to eat (more strawberrie with chocolota, I love it), we went to the "mampato" and we got on the "tagada" and obviously we bathed at the beach. English language challenges.

Hi everyone!! I hope your day is going great :) Today I will talk about my experience with the English class in the university. I think that the classes were very dynamic, we didn´t learn just formulas for to do sentences, by contrast, we saw videos and interviews of music celebrities, they spoke about their experiences with the fame and their life, this is useful for to understand a daily and informal language. Class readings such as poem and articles or videos about activists help to learn more formal language. The blogs are very helpful for writing practice and allowed me to improve reading comprehension, these also help us to learn vocabulary about themes of our interest or related to the carrer I am studying, and when we commented on the blogs of our colleagues practice we practiced a more daily and informal interaction.  The aspects that I need to improve in my English are mainly pronunciation and listening comprehension, for to achieve this objetive I will reinforc...

A country I would like to visit.

Hi everyone.  My name is Camila Martinez and this is my first blog. In this occasion I will talk about a country I would like to visit. I like would visit Perú, because I think that this country has a fascinating culture and gastronomy. Perú is a country that has many "llactas", these are ancient towns incaicos, some  example of llactas are Machu Picchu, it´s  more well-known, and Ollantaytambo, it´s the last  Inca  city, this citys are many meters height; a friend who was in Perú told me about a train with windows in the roof that travels between the mountains, and the beutiful landscape that he saw, it would be amazing for me to get on this train. I would like taste the peruan food, as "aji de gallina", "tiramisu", "causa limeña". I would only  go to Perú for tourism, I would not live in Perú, because I am very close to my family, maybe in a future I change my opinion. Thank you for reading this blog, I hope  you  like it :).
